Seasonal Worker visa

You can apply for Seasonal Worker visas for horticulture, warehouse work, production work, and fabric work at any time of the year.

You'll need to:

  • Get a job invitation from licensed employer.
  • meet the other eligibility requirements
  • Tier 5 Seasonal Worker Visa is for temporary work or internships in the UK sponsored by an organization.

    You must to apply for your visa before the date you are scheduled to begin working in the UK. This date is specified on your sponsorship certificate. As part of your application, you will need to verify your identity and submit your documents.

    How long you can stay

    Up to 6 months for Seasonal Worker Visa.

    You can enter the UK as soon as your visa is valid (up to 14 days before the start date of your job).

    What you can and cannot do

    You can:

  • Work in the job described in your certificate of sponsorship.
  • Study.
  • You cannot:

  • take a permanent job
  • work in a second job or a job that isn't described in your certificate of sponsorship
  • get public funds
  • Eligibility

    You must be 18 years old or over when you apply and have all of the following: valid travel passport, a Certificate of Sponsorship from your UK sponsor and job invitation given by licensed employer.

    Certificate of sponsorship

    You will receive your sponsorship certificate upon visa issuance.

    If you have a child born while you are in the United Kingdom

    If you have a child born while you're in the UK, they do not automatically become a British citizen.

    You can apply online for their visa as your dependant. You must do this if you want to travel in and out of the UK with your child.

    You'll need to provide a full UK birth certificate for each child, showing the names of both parents.
